Update - SR 76 opened again before 12:30 pm.

According to the CHP log, on eastbound 76 just east of Pala Del Norte Rd. at 10:53 a.m. this morning, a vehicle ran off the road and hit a telephone pole knocking it down on to 76. The car ended up on its roof. Both lanes of 76 are closed until the lines are cleared. SDG&E reported the lines are not live; an ATT line is also involved. The driver is reported to have minor injuries. An update will be posted when the road opens.
