BONSALL – A British gathering for St. George’s Day was held in Bonsall on April 23.

"It was a great excuse for the British Friends of Fallbrook and Bonsall to get together to celebrate St. George’s Day and the 450th anniversary of William Shakespeare’s birth," said local resident Sue Thorne. "Eight transplanted Brits gathered for a festive lunch to fly the English flag, watch the Queen’s famous wave, and chat about the "good auld days" at Fresco Grill in Bonsall.
