Ray’s Insta-Tune has maintained a reputation of quality and efficiency throughout the 16 years that owner Joon Cho has operated the establishment. The business has been in Fallbrook 32 years.

Services offered at Ray’s Insta-Tune include air-conditioning, brakes, cooling, drive train, electronic, engine, preventative maintenance, smog testing and certification, steering and suspension, and transmission. It is also a brake and lamp certified station.

Well-trained, experienced professionals assist customers at Ray’s Insta-Tune in a friendly manner. For convenience, the waiting room has Wi-Fi and there is a courtesy shuttle available.

Cho has been in the automotive industry since 1978 and, prior to that, served in the United States Army for three years. When asked about the success of Ray’s Insta-Tune, Cho said that his "drive-through oil change" approach provides the customer with a convenient and time-saving service. Because of the prompt attention, no appointments are necessary. Advertisement

Knowing it is in his customers’ best interest, Cho uses only premium oil brands. One of those is Pennzoil, which includes a specialized formula for European cars.

"I trust the Pennzoil brand because it is very high quality, and guarantees a 300,000 mile/10-year limited warranty," said Cho. For new Chevrolet and GM cars, he uses the newest formula GM Dexos1 oil. For diesel engines, Cho uses Shell Rotella heavy-duty engine oil.

Ray’s Insta-Tune services all types of vehicles, from Acura to Volvo. No matter what service a customer purchases at Ray’s Insta-Tune, a complimentary car wash is included, at Fallbrook Car Wash, located just across the street.

Currently a special discount on synthetic blend oils is offered at Ray’s Insta-Tune.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visit 212 E. Alvarado Street, Fallbrook, or call (760) 728-8659.

Love the free car wash part, I'm headed down for an oil change!
