The San Diego Sheriff's Dept. has reported that a Valley Center man was stung to death by bees today (March 6).

According to authorities, around 1:50 p.m. deputies from the Valley Center Sheriff's substation responded to a call in the 12500 block of Montanya Drive to assist Valley Center/Cal Fire medics. Emergency personnel at the scene were trying to assist a 67-year-old man who had been working on the grounds of his property when he sustained numerous bee stings and went into medical distress.

Although life-saving measures were attempted, the man succumbed to his condition.

The San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office will be conducting an investigation into the incident.

This is very sad. (My father was very afraid of bees and just as afraid to use his epipen shot to treat the stings. )

Always carry an Epi Pen, even if you have no allergies to bees or wasps. I carry one.

Where's Lee's outrage about this incident? The government must ban these Assualt Bees!

On a serious note: this is an unfortunate incident, condolences to the family.

@ #3 Really?

I'm not outraged. Do you know why? I am not outraged at you exercising your First Amendment right of freedom of speech.

How else would we see who you are?

Once again Really? your comment goes right over Lee's head at the speed of light. Thanks for being "who you are" someone with a brain and common sense. Something that is sorely lacking in at least one of the comments here......

Condolences to the family. Bee's scare the heck out of me.

Gotta love it Pink, when pinheads think freedom of speech means that no one can disagree with the nitwittery they're spouting.
