Excellent!!! I hope that they show this memorial at EVERY school so that our young realize that they do not want to be one of the next 58,000 dead.

Excellent! Please show ALL of our war memorials to EVERY child!

Vietnam War was a draft, healthy men HAD to go or run to Canada. Now it is a choice for EVERY child when they become of age. And like Reality check stated, there is a lot to consider in today's wars.

@Lee- none of them WANTED to die for you; but they were WILLING to die for you; do not make my dead brothers into a political statement; honor them for their courage, their devotion to the country and their sacrifice.

Dr Dr 80% of US Viet Nam war dead were volunteers; less than 4% of Marine war dead were drafted.

I have run my fingers along the wall and read names -- To many of whom I knew.
It was a gut wrenching experience and a turning point of the way I live my life.
Until that day, I had never really appreciated just how fortunate I had been.
Draft, Volunteer, it makes no difference to the fact that what Man has done to man on this planet is despicable.
