Man in critical condition after shooting in De Luz

DE LUZ - A man is in critical condition after he was found wounded in a roadway in the unincorporated area of De Luz, a Riverside County sheriff's sergeant said today.

The shooting occurred at 10:30 p.m. Friday in the area of Avenida Tierra and Calle Jardin, said Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Kevin McDonald.

found a man lying in the roadway near a blue car suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, McDonald said.

"The victim was transported to a local hospital via ambulance where he remains in critical condition," the sergeant said. "He is expected to survive his injuries."

Anyone with information about the shooting was urged to contact Investigator Rachael Frost at (951) 696-3000, McDonald said.

It's too bad the car was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Why was the man in critical condition?

I thought De Luz was San Diego Sheriff jurisdiction?

not if the incident happen a lot closer to riverside county and I think where there talking about is already riverside county so yeah
