FALLBROOK – Fallbrook Union High School District Superintendent Dale Mitchell presented Christian Gonzalez and Jeremy Walden as Employees of the Month to the Rotary Club of Fallbrook at its Thursday weekly meeting.

Of Gonzalez, Superintendent Mitchell said, "As a bilingual paraprofessional, he is working with English learner students in four different subject areas including chemistry. He works extremely hard to support these students and all students in the classes in which he works."

Mitchell said of Walden, "He is an outstanding teacher, effectively working with gifted students as well as special needs students. Technology/iPads are regularly used to support student learning. Additionally, he provides professional development support for teachers, inspiring them to increase their effectiveness."

The Employee of the Month program is part of the ongoing effort by Fallbrook Rotary to achieve, maintain and reward excellence in the employees of the Fallbrook school system. For more information, visit
