So we gave 1-3 Del Norte their first win. We beat 0-3 University City. We got killed by 4-0 Mt. Carmel. The boys are fighting hard, but the jury is still out.

All we can do is have a wait and see attitude and see where we end up. Our league schedule is definately more difficult than Del Norte and U.C.

Win or lose, the team has been competetive in all games. That's an improvement over years past. Keep up the good work Coach Williams and staff.

Started my coaching career at Fallbrook in 93. 14 years of coaching experience to date. Getting them to fight seems to be 80% of the job these days!!
Great to hear the program is at that level of fighting hard, competing and caring. I wrote a book about Building Championship Caliber Football programs, interviewed 108 head coaches from 42 states who won 2011 state championships. Three of the top 10 common characteristics from all of the coaches that applies here: team chemistry, leadership and mental toughness. I believe these are three of THE most important characteristics of a team. If the team is fighting hard, competing and caring, my bet is that the chemistry, peer leadership and mental toughness is there; and stronger than in years past.
Teams gather that stuff from their head coach. Turning around this program will take time! I think the Warriors have won 10 games in last 6 years. Coach Williams is turning around a battleship in the middle of the ocean!! Best way to do that is focusing on one degree at a time!! And it takes time. Good luck the rest of the way Warriors!!

Coach fore that's a great point...it takes time. I think Fallbrook has only won like a few games in the past 10 years. We as a community need to be patient. This coach is pretty impressive if your take the time to watch. Under Williams in a few years we will be better. My son is enjoying his football experience.

Since VN didn't approve my last post

You have a line of players who were apart of an ineffective system. They are putting up yards and the coaches are running a system that uses the players that we have to their full potential(wing-t). They just need some time for all levels to start running the system in sync again and the W's will come.

Forgive me if I don't jump on the sputtering band wagon yet. We are 1-2 and the jury is still out.

What happened? Fallbrook used to be so good. Maybe it's because the kids are smaller then they used to be.
