Was looking to buy a home in Fallbrook. Grew up in Boston. Street smart, respect people, and looking for a low key area. After reading the online newspaper it seems Fallbrook is not immune to crime.
I thought Martin Milner ( from 1ADAM12 ) great show by the way, lives in Fallbrook because it is nice ! Is it nice ! Do you need more police ! Is it safe to walk around at night !
Just looking for some opinions from those who live in Fallbrook and what is it like everyday.
Hopefully boring.....

@ #2, yes, Fallbrook is safe - it is not Mayberry, but it is as safe, or safer, than other areas of SOCAL. Depending on where you live/walk you can walk at night with the biggest problem is getting hit by a car due to lack of side walks and lights. Other parts of town, gang activity seems to be growing. I have walked all over the town with no worries, avoiding only a couple of housing areas. I believe that trouble comes to those looking for it so avoid the trouble spot and you will be ok.
