COACHELLA VALLEY-RIVERSIDE COUNTY MOUNTAINS-SAN BERNARDINO AND RIVERSIDE COUNTY VALLEYS -THE INLAND EMPIRE-

THE URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY HAS EXPIRED AS OF 615 PM FOR CENTRAL RIVERSIDE COUNTY.

MINOR FLOODING OVER CENTRAL RIVERSIDE COUNTY IS NO LONGER EXPECTED. HOWEVER...RUNNING WATER MAY CONTINUE THROUGH NORMALLY DRY CREEKS OVER THE NEXT HOUR.

REMEMBER...NEVER DRIVE ACROSS FLOODED ROADWAYS. TURN AROUND...DO NOT

DROWN.

Deep subtropical moisture over Southern California will bring another round of afternoon and evening thunderstorms over the mountains and deserts. Heavy rainfall and flash flooding or debris flows are possible with the strongest cells.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation. According to the NWS, you should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should flash flood warnings be issued.
