All these years the Grand Tradition fed the fire fighters and this year they did not, what is up with that? These fire fighters give them all they have, the least that should be done is for them to feed these guys!

VILLAGE NEWS NOTE: The decision to provide food or not to workers at the event is made by the Fallbrook Beautification Alliance, not the Grand Tradition owners. It is the Alliance that runs the event. It is just held on the grounds of the Grand Tradition. ----D. Ramsey

The FBA is barley making it's funding quota each year. If you want them to feed firefighters, maybe think of making a donation. They had half the budget for fireworks this year but still put on a good show. I know there are a lot of people who enjoy the fireworks from their homes, and I've heard a lot of people say that 20-30 dollars is too much to pay. But everyone wants fireworks. If everyone in town did nothing more than pay 1 dollar each, there would be plenty of money for fireworks and firemen. ON top of just fireworks, the FBA maintains our beautiful median going down Mission, and the preserve there too. Every time I've been to the preserve it wasn't empty. So I know other people are using it. If we want Fallbrook to remain the great little town it is we ALL need to pitch in at least a little.

In the past the FBA provide all the food, this year it was vendors, maybe that is why.
