Purveyors of fine cuisine, wine support Bonsall Rotary - Village News photo. - Faro Trupiano served samples of cuisine from his Fallbrook restaurant, Trupiano’s Italian Bistro, at Bonsall Rotary’s charitable Wine, Brews, & Blues event held May 18 at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido. His dish featured corkscrew pasta with bits of Portugese sausage, chicken, and mushrooms, in a creamy sauce rich with herbs.

Purveyors of fine cuisine, wine support Bonsall Rotary - Village News photo. - Newlyweds Mark and Kristin McDougal represented The Veranda restaurant at the Grand Tradition Estate at the Wine, Brews, & Blues charity fundraising event. The McDougals served brioche bread pudding infused with orange zest and dotted with tangy dried cranberries, finished with an amaretto sauce and a fun dusting of Captain Crunch crumbles.

Purveyors of fine cuisine, wine support Bonsall Rotary - Village News photo. - Ken Mapes, owner and winemaker of Mapes Cellars, poured samples of his amazing dessert wines at the Bonsall Rotary event. Mapes, who was accompanied by his wife, Ginny, offered Day’s End – a deliciously smooth syrah-grenache dessert wine, a luscious Chocolate Decompression, and an Orange Muscat that was a crowd favorite. Mapes’ wines are offered at Major Market.
