Whenever you experience low voltage, lights are dim, unplug all sensitive equiptment such as computers, televion sets, and any appliance that use a electric motor. may save you a lot of repair money.

Its known as a "brown out". When you see it, RUN to your breaker box and turn off the main breaker. Fastest and best thing you can do to save anything electrical/electronic in your house.

There have been an awful lot of power outages and brownouts lately. There was a massive one in Temecula a few weeks ago. I wonder if it has anything to do with San Onofre being off line? If so what will happen when it gets really hot this summer?
