"SAN DIEGO - The unemployment rate in San Diego County was 8.6 percent in January, up from a revised 8.2 percent in December, but below the 9.5 percent figure from January 2012, the state Employment Development Department announced today" Why don't they explain exactly how they come up with these numbers? They are only counting people who are on unemployment benefits thru E.D.D they are not counting people who went thru all their benefits or those who never filed and still to this day can't find work.
The federal rate is based on a random telephone survey not real numbers
But the needs to bring in an additional 200,000 Mexican workers -
Nice try. This is so grossly inaccurate, it's laughable. Edd is the single worst source to pull any real numbers of the actual unemployed. Thousands of people have exhausted their UI benefits, thousands more have not filed/didn't qualify. The actual rate of unemployment is probably more like 40%.
We have to make Obama look good right?
As if grunt is going to do stoop labor harvesting crops.
