Young baseball players are back-to-back champions

FALLBROOK – Local Fallbrook Youth Baseball League players Grant Knox, Dean Olivo, and Joel Calhoun, who play on the MIT 11U Blue team recently won the Division 1 Presidents Super NIT Tournament held in Lakeside on February 17.

The team went undefeated with a 5-O record during the tournament.

It is the second tournament championship in 30 days for this MIT 11U team. The team is managed by Derric Waller and coached by Curt Christiansen.

The team will compete in a national tournament in Gilbert, Arizona on the weekend of

March 16.
