"People from the community, various churches, and organizations underwrote the event and sponsored tables," said Cheely. "The generous gifts received reflect the heartfelt concern for defending life in Fallbrook." At the event, Senator Joel Anderson’s representative, Christian Pedersen presented a certificate of appreciation to the Knights of Columbus Fallbrook Advertisement "The Knights have been instrumental in assisting the FPRC in many ways, including providing and preparing the banquet’s excellent meal," said Cheely. The FPRC provides service to those in the community with an unplanned pregnancy. I wonder if the same people who "underwrote the event and sponsored tables" will be underwriting the cost of feeding, housing and educating these children once they're born? I doubt it.
Ed, I am not sure of your point. What are you proposing?
As a longtime Fallbrook resident I am proud we have this resource for women. My favorite bumpersticker "What about unborn women's rights?"
I believe Ed is saying that people who can't afford to feed, clothe or educate themselves should be killed Gustav.
Or maybe Ed is saying that people who advocate against safe and legal reproductive choice for women should help deal with the economic social ramifications of the laws that they wish to impose on all of us.
No one is taking away your "choice" comment #5 but the door revolves both ways. Those of us who are "pro life" and believe that the one place a child should always be safe is in their mother's womb, are happy to see women choosing to give life to their inborn child. The majority of the babies born to these young women will be going to loving adoptive homes. |
