This year’s exhibition included over 80 artworks from 13 public, private, parochial and charter schools in San Diego County. On Feb. 23, the students, their families, and friends attended a reception and awards ceremony at the SDAI. All artists were presented with a certificate of excellence and students who won awards received them. The students who placed first, second and third will have their works sent on to a five-county competition in Riverside, which will be on exhibit April 8 through 20. These students are taught by Marilee Ragland at the Fallbrook School of the Arts.
