The northeast winds of 15 to 25 miles per hour will be pushed in by high pressure over the Great Basin, according to the National Weather Service. The NWS issued a wind advisory, to be in effect from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Gusts of up to 35 mph were expected near the coastal foothills and gusts could approach 50 mph through and below passes and canyons, forecasters said. The winds could make driving difficult, especially for motorists in high profile vehicles, according to the NWS advisory. Drivers should watch for downed power lines and broken tree limbs. 0 comments Be the first to share your opinion on this article! |
