Cort HedrickThursday, March 7th, 2013 Issue 10, Volume 17.
Cort had a beautiful smile that could melt any heart. He lived life fearlessly. But even in his struggle on this earth, he had committed his life to Christ. Cort had a deep desire to walk with God, marry Leah, and have a family. Cort loved his family and friends very much. Cort was always the first to say "I love you" to his loved ones. God in His infinite wisdom took him home. His family will miss him terribly but trust God and His sovereign will. We will see him again. A celebration of his life will be held at Calvary Chapel Vista, 885 E. Vista Way, Vista, Calif. at 11 a.m., March 16 with a reception to follow. If you would like to donate food, call the church office, (760) 726-4224. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hedrick family to help defray the cost of the arrangements. There is an account set up at Chase Bank, account #2936860983. 5 comments
Poor guy I wish we could have done more for him it happened right in front of my house I was one of the first on scene I'm really sorry for your losses I just wish we could have done more.....
My heart goes out to the family in their time of sorrow. It's so sad when a good person like this passes away so young. Prayers and comfort to you.
I can't cannot imagine the sorrow you, as parents are feeling right now. Even though we have not spoken in years, trust in the Lord as He will help you through this horrible time in your lives. I will pray for you and my heart goes out to you. He now walks with Christ and one day you WILL be re-united! Stay strong and give this pain to our maker.......Patti
I am saddened to hear that a former first-grade student of mine, Cort, was killed in a car accident. I remember him very well ... cute, blond, smiling, happy ... and everyone in the class was his friend and he was everyone's friend. I know that his family must be struggling with this; Trust in the Lord with All Your Heart, Lean Not on your own understanding. ... former Cindy Cooper 3/30
Julie, Chris and Family, I am still in shock as I heard you tell me all of this a few minutes ago. My heart is so sad for your loss but know as much as Our Redeemer lives Cort lives with Him now. God bless you, strengthen you and hold you close to Him always. Miss you, love you and praying. A friend in Christ for LIFE! Susan Engle |
