FALLBROOK – Dr. Allison Lovell is the newest addition to the Fallbrook Medical Center healthcare team.

As a board certified internal medicine physician, Dr. Lovell said she finds it most important to have a good rapport with her patients.

"In my practice, I emphasize patient education and active participation in their management," said Lovell. "Updated health maintenance and preventative screenings are a priority as well."

Dr. Lovell said she enjoys the "whole patient perspective" management of health care she obtains from the internal medicine field.

She received her medical degree from St. Georges University and completed both her internship and residency at Waterbury Hospital through Yale University.

Born in Greenwich, Connecticut, Dr. Lovell has lived in San Diego since 1988. Her hobbies include tennis, camping, off-road exploring and gardening.
