Bonsall Fallbrook Little League rededicates Zeke Weaver Memorial Field as part of opening day ceremonies

Brothers Owen Lee and Grant Lee display the new sign for Zeke Weaver Memorial Field during the field’s rededication at the opening day ceremony of the Bonsall Fallbrook Little League (BFLL) on Feb. 22. The Mudhens T-ball team lines up for the opening day of Little League play at Zeke Weaver Field. Close to 200 boys and girls are playing little league this season ranging from 4 to 14 years old. The Hotrods T-ball are ready to play their first season in the Bonsall Fallbrook Little League. They started playing on Feb. 23. Red Sox players, from left, Jackson Richards, Cameron Hill, Zachary Isham, and Noah Silva enjoy the carnival held with opening day ceremonies on Feb. 22. Mercy Air, which uses the ball field for medical transportation, lands at Zeke Weaver Memorial Field during the opening day celebration of Bonsall Fallbrook Little League on Feb. 22 Robert Curnow, the RN who flies with Mercy Air, throws out the season’s first pitch for the Bonsall Fallbrook Little League.
