Bob was a legend in motorcycles and motorcycle racing, and best known for founding Team Hansen, a leading force in motorcycle racing in the 60s and 70s. He was also a senior executive at Honda and Kawasaki during that period. He was inducted into the American Motorcycle Association’s Hall of Fame in 1999. Bob was a bomber pilot in WWII, and retired from the Air Force Reserve as a lieutenant colonel in 1979. He is survived by his loving daughters, Kathy Dunkerley, and Roberta Hansen. Services were held Monday, Feb. 25, in the chapel at Berry-Bell and Hall Mortuary in Fallbrook.
