FALLBROOK – Entries are still being accepted for the March 16 Battle of the Bands at Fallbrook Community Center. This event is open to all bands with members between 13 and 19 years of age. Bands will set up, perform and battle it out for a $200 first place cash award, $100 second place cash award, trophies, other donated prizes and bragging rights. This year’s event will also accept video shorts and artwork from 13- to 19-year-olds.

A completed application, band photo, and at least three tunes must be submitted to the community center office as soon as possible. Video shorts and original artwork entries are due by March 8. The top bands will be invited Advertisement

[ Pala Mesa Resort ] to perform in front of an audience and be rated by a panel of judges on March 16. This year’s Battle of the Bands will have a professional sound system and sound technician who will mic and mix all instruments and vocals. Amps, mics, drum kit, staging, and lights are all provided. Bands need only bring instruments, cords and pedals.
