Local Rotary clubs sponsor students for RYLA camp

FALLBROOK – Three local Rotary clubs have selected a total of seven Fallbrook High School students to financially sponsor for Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) camp from April 19 through 21.

"The RYLA camp is an amazing leadership experience for students from around the county," said Karen Ricci, career counselor at Fallbrook High School.

Bonsall Rotary Club will sponsor Anna Wegner and Olivia Montiano.

Rotary Club of Fallbrook will sponsor Roxanne Beye, Nuri Melo, and Yessica Perez.

Fallbrook Village Rotary will sponsor Tessa Fieri and Lucia Montiano.

Young people are chosen basked on potential leadership skills. The sponsoring Rotary club pays all expenses for the student(s) to attend the camp in order to develop and enhance leadership skills through activities conducted in an atmosphere of trust and respect.
