As part of the program, the school organized a trip for sixth grade students to the New Children’s Museum in downtown San Diego so they could visit an exhibit called "Trash." The exhibition includes the work of 12 contemporary artists who make art installations with trash that allow the students to touch, explore, think, and play with them.
