Morey (Morell) John Sherman Sr.Thursday, January 31st, 2013 Issue 05, Volume 17.
As a U.S. WWII Army Veteran, he was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star during his service in the South Pacific as an infantryman. He is survived by his wonderful wife of 64 years, Marion Sherman; his three children, Morey Jr., Randy and Dawn; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Morey was an incredibly loved man who touched the lives of everyone around him. He was best known for loving his family, the outdoors, camping, keeping life simple and always being on the go. He will be greatly missed and in the hearts of many forever. He will be buried at the Riverside National Cemetery and a Memorial service will be held at the Wilderness Lakes Lodge in Menifee, on Feb 10, at 3 p.m. Memorial donations may be sent to Wilderness Lakes Chapel, 30605 Briggs Road, Menifee, Calif. 92584 0 comments Be the first to share your opinion on this article! |
