A recent trip to San Diego was cancelled when we learned that the film we were traveling to Hillcrest to see, Hyde Park on Hudson, was showing as a special engagement at the Bonsall Digiplex Theatre.

After seeing the film and talking with the new manager, she said the new owners, Digiplex Destinations, plan to bring more independent films to Bonsall. Also, in the near future, they will be streaming live Saturday performances from the Metropolitan Opera to their Bonsall theatre.

[ Pala Mesa Resort ] in our community who travels to San Diego theaters to see these live feeds from the Met, I was trilled to learn they will be available at our local movie theatre.

These independent film and opera opportunities will only happen if we take advantage of them!

Our Bonsall Digiplex Theatre will also be home for the Fallbrook International Film Festival April 5, 6 and 7.  This Fallbrook Film Factory event will feature 70+ films, outstanding workshops and a gala awards dinner. You won’t want to miss this fabulous three-day event!
