"My sergeant at the scene said the gun the man used to take his own life was discovered beneath his body," said Lt. Todd Richardson, commander of the Fallbrook Sheriff's substation.

The man, whose identity has not yet been released officially, was found inside the guard's shack at the entrance to the community, located near Old Highway 395 and Dulin Road at about 11:30 a.m. today, Tues., Jan. 29.

I can understand feeling sorry for his family but why are you sorry for his soul? He's in a better place; if anything you should be happy for his soul.

Perhaps Diane is of the Christian faith which believes that suicide is a sin.

As a person of faith (Christian) I would like to say that while yes, we do believe that suicide is a sin, we also believe that a gracious and loving God knows our hearts, He knows our every thought and he understands when we are heartbroken. He is capable of welcoming all of us sinners into His waiting and loving arms.

You are correct by saying suicide is a sin. However we are all sinners; it is by faith and the grace of God that we are saved. God does not measure sin. Do your homework; read GOD's word.
