Sheriff's officials have confirmed that the body of a man was found at Rancho Monserate Country Club Estates near Old Highway 395 and Dulin Road. Just before 11:30 a.m. today, Tuesday, January 29, authorities temporarily closed access in and out of the community while an investigation was started. "It appears this may have been a suicide," said Lt. Todd Richardson, commander of the Fallbrook Sheriff's substation. "My officers at the scene say it appears an older man shot himself, but I am waiting on our detectives to make that determination." Residents of the community said the man's body was found inside the guard shack located at the entry of the development. 6 comments
These are hard times for many, older people have it the hardest. (I feel!) I hope he didn't suffer.
If someone you haven't talk to for a while just pick up the phone and say hi..... and also in fast food line i sometimes pay for their food when they are in back of my in line... just little things make someones day...... so sorry for his family and also his soul
I can understand feeling sorry for his family but why are you sorry for his soul? He's in a better place; if anything you should be happy for his soul.
Perhaps Diane is of the Christian faith which believes that suicide is a sin.
As a person of faith (Christian) I would like to say that while yes, we do believe that suicide is a sin, we also believe that a gracious and loving God knows our hearts, He knows our every thought and he understands when we are heartbroken. He is capable of welcoming all of us sinners into His waiting and loving arms.
You are correct by saying suicide is a sin. However we are all sinners; it is by faith and the grace of God that we are saved. God does not measure sin. Do your homework; read GOD's word. |
