Volunteer training is free and open to the public. Bilingual volunteers, pet therapy volunteers, and military veterans are needed. Graduates of this volunteer training course will serve hospice patients and their family members that live in the graduate’s community. To reserve a spot in the volunteer training, please call (760) 737-2050 no later than Jan. 25. The Elizabeth Hospice has provided services to more than 83,000 patients and families in northern San Diego County regardless of their ability to pay.
