FALLBROOK – Fallbrook Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 1924 recently presented a plaque to Boy Scout troop leader Chuck Reeder in appreciation for encouraging scouts to participate in local VFW events.

VFW representatives said, "Over the years Chuck has coordinated putting up flags on Memorial Day, setting up and taking down chairs at events, attending and teaching proper flag disposal on Flag Day, and other various activities."

The plaque was engraved with "You lead, we’ll follow" to honor Reeder’s "excellent leadership skills," they said.
