Jeanne Elizabeth Eyer, 72, passed away holding her family members’ hands early Saturday morning, December 29, 2012 at Palomar Hospital.

Jeanne was born in Los Angeles, July 19, 1940, and grew up in Whittier, Calif. She graduated from California High School in 1958. She remained close to her high school friends to this day. She graduated from Fullerton Junior College two years later. Delos and Jeanne met in 1960 and were married in 1961.

The Eyer family moved to Fallbrook and established roots in 1973. During Jeanne’s 40 years in Fallbrook, she was a gift shop owner, a Realtor, and a restaurant owner. Her passion as an artisan was creating jewelry which will be adored by many for generations to come.

Most importantly, she was a caring gracious wife, mother, and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family. Jeanne was a beautiful person who was full of life and a caring friend to many.

Jeanne is survived by her husband of 51 years, Delos E. Eyer; her two sons, Delos W. Eyer and Thomas D. Eyer; her grandsons, Erik D. Eyer and Axel C. Eyer, and her brother Donald C. Anderson.

A memorial service was held at Christ The King Lutheran Church on Saturday Jan. 5, followed by a gravesite service at Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery, followed by reception at La Caseta Restaurant.
