Translate this page Third graders support Operation Hope shelterThursday, January 10th, 2013 Issue 02, Volume 17.
Students spent several weeks collecting items for the care packages and received a generous donation of toothbrushes, floss, and toothpaste from Dr. Clayton Cooke’s office. The packages also included reusable water bottles, granola bars, Kleenex, lotion, hand-wipes, gum, combs, and lip balm. After the students were done packaging the care bags, Russell Blackwood, director of operations for the Operation Hope shelter came and spoke to the students about his facility, answered their questions, and thanked them for making the care packages. 1 comments
What a great group of kids. Mrs. Edwards, their parents, and the community should feel lucky that they have such a great group of caring and giving students. These great kids will be those same leaders that "add" to why America is such a great country. God Bless. |
