Led by Ben Lian and Matt Lindsey, firefighters and administrative staff that work for North County Fire donated enough money for 20 family meals to be provided through Albertsons. In addition, the store contributed another five prime rib meals to the effort, so 25 families could receive a holiday meal. Each meal feeds a family of six. The meals were delivered to the military families on Sunday, Dec. 23. "The Fallbrook Firefighter’s Association wanted to recognize these military families who may have a parent deployed during Christmas and show them a small token of appreciation for everything they do," said Lindsey. 0 comments Be the first to share your opinion on this article! |
