Jeanne Elizabeth Eyer, 72, passed away holding her family members' hands early Saturday morning, December 29, 2012 at Palomar Hospital.

Jeanne was born in Los Angeles, July 19, 1940, and grew up in Whittier, Calif. She graduated from California High School in 1958. She remained close to her high school friends to this day. She graduated from Fullerton Junior College two years later. Delos and Jeanne met in 1960 and were married in 1961.

The Eyer family moved to Fallbrook and established roots in 1973. During Jeanne's 40 years in Fallbrook, she was a gift shop owner, a Realtor, and a restaurant owner. Her passion as an artisan was creating jewelry which will be adored by many for generations to come.

Most importantly, she was a caring gracious wife, mother, and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family. Jeanne was a beautiful person who was full of life and a caring friend to many.

Jeanne is survived by her husband of 51 years, Delos E. Eyer; her two sons, Delos W. Eyer and Thomas D. Eyer; her grandsons, Erik D. Eyer and Axel C. Eyer, and her brother Donald C. Anderson.

A memorial service will be held at Christ The King Lutheran Church (1620 S. Stage Coach Lane), Saturday Jan. 5 at 11 a.m. followed by a grave site service at the Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery (1177 Santa Margarita Drive) and followed by reception at La Caseta Restaurant.

I sure am going to miss sweet Jeanne's laughter. She always had a kind word and an easy-going calmness about her. My prayers and thoughts are with you, Delos, Delos and Tom. xoxo

The Eyer Family are wonderful people. Mrs. Eyer often seated us when we went to eat at La Caseta, and her son does a great job there. Delos Eyer was my daughter's fifth grade teacher, and is an intelligent and witty man.

My heart goes out to the family. Mrs. Eyer always had a wonderful and heartfelt smile and a warm presence.

We were shocked to learn the news about Jeanne. She was a sweet and talented lady. Our condolences to the Eyer family, and staff at La Caseta, from your friends at El Jardin.
