In late November, car club member Jeanne Cusimano contacted the YMCA to request wish lists for three participating military families. The wish list that was provided to the club included family names, children’s ages and sizes necessary for fulfilling their wishes. Car club members Darla Voorhees and Sharon Muno helped Cusimano do the necessary shopping, wrapping of gifts which they delivered in mid-December to Camp Pendleton in time for Santa to give to the selected families by Christmas. The Secret Santa program is one of the many local groups and organizations that have benefited from donations from the Fallbrook Vintage Car Club this year. For over 50 years the car club, a non-profit organization, has continued a program of donating to those in the Fallbrook community that are in need of financial aid and support. For information regarding the Secret Santa program, contact the Armed Services YMCA at Camp Pendleton.
