Translate this page Asphalt overlay work on Fallbrook Street to begin Wed., Dec. 26; traffic delays to be expected for 3 daysTuesday, December 18th, 2012 Issue 51, Volume 16.
Authorities have said the contractor's plan is to remove and replace one lane full length in one day. Given that there are three lanes, the anticipated completion date is Friday, December 28. Road crews will be working each day from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residents whose homes are accessed via Fallbrook Street need to be aware of this if they are having a special event, expecting deliveries, etc. Commuters not needing to access points off Fallbrook Street may wish to take alternate routes to avoid delays. Traffic delays can be expected during the work. 3 comments
Thanks for the Christmas present... talk about a road that needs repair, wow Fallbrook street has been horrible for years. However I will be very surprised if they can strip off a whole lane, two miles long in one day..lets wait and see if they can do it in three days...during rainy season, that could interupt plans. I will guess 10 days...
it's about time!
Are they going to put in sidewalks? There is a lot of foot traffic up and down Fallbrook street. |
