The Rainbow Municipal Water District will have a 4.09 percent share of the CWA weighted vote during calendar year 2013 board meetings. The district had a 4.11 percent share for 2012 meetings. Rainbow’s weighted vote was 4.14 percent in 2011, 4.16 percent during 2010, 4.18 percent for 2009, and 4.20 percent at 2008 board meetings. FPUD was allocated a weighted vote of 2.43 percent, down from its 2012 share of 2.45 percent. FPUD had 2.46 percent of the calendar year 2011 total vote, 2.48 percent of the 2010 vote, 2.50 percent of the 2009 allocation, and 2.51 percent of the 2008 total entitlement. Camp Pendleton’s new weighted vote will be 0.12 percent. The base had a weighted vote of 0.13 percent in both 2012 and 2011, a share of 0.14 percent in Advertisement The member vote entitlement is calculated based on the total financial contribution from each agency. The contribution amount includes all taxes, assessments, fees, and charges paid to or on behalf of the CWA by property located within the member agency’s boundary. The cost of water treatment is not included in the total financial contribution, but the totals include standby charges, capacity charges, infrastructure access charges, readiness-to-serve charges, connection and maintenance fees, and annexation fees as well as charges for water delivered and sold to CWA member agencies. The contribution amount covers the fiscal year ending June 30. The total financial contribution of all 24 CWA member agencies was $9,788,719,978 for the period ending June 30, 2012, an increase from the previous year’s $8,879,225,898 total. Rainbow’s most recent contribution calculation was $400,106,109 while the district’s 2010-11 contribution was $382,189,219. FPUD had total 2011-12 contributions of $238,035,746 while contributing $227,698,793 during the previous fiscal year.
