Unless their faculty has complete academic freedom (which they don't), please don't refer to this institution as a university. Instead let's just call it what it really is....a christian indoctrination center.
Factual truth will always have its distractors from the uninformed secular opposition.
Congratulations future students at the CBU satellite facility in Temecula. I'm confident you are going to be pleased with the quality of the CBU faculty. And thank you Valley News for such nice coverage of the grand opening.
From their handbook I quote "to encourage a free exchange of ideas by providing a wide variety of spiritual, intellectual, cultural, and social learning experiences both within and outside the classroom" From my experience however I was explicitly and often told, after paying up tuition of course, that people of the Jewish and Roman Catholic faiths were doomed to eternal damnation unless we converted. And the pressure to "redeem oneself" in other words convert to their narrow religious dictates was relentless. If you're looking for a "real" university best to avoid this place at all costs. |
