FALLBROOK – Potter Jr. High School principal Leonard Rodriquez presented the school’s student of the month to the Rotary Club of Fallbrook at a recent weekly luncheon meeting.

Samantha Chavez was recognized for "being ready, being respectful, and being responsible." An eighth grade student, Samantha was also praised for "being a dedicated student who always does her best."

"[Samantha] makes the extra effort to turn in work when absent, even when due to illness and she is always helpful," said Rodriguez.
