FALLBROOK – Ms. Kinsman’s transitional kindergarten class at William H. Frazier kicked off fall with a project to make them smile. The students used the new vocabulary words they had learned that week (first, next, and last) to follow directions and build a yummy snack.

Since "m" was the letter of the week, the students sequenced the steps needed to build apple mouths with marshmallow teeth! Putting their fine motor skills to work, they all had a wonderful time using their new knowledge to prepare this edible assignment, and all ended up with a big smile! "Mmm, it was delicious," they said. Their homework for the day was to go home and explain the steps to mom and dad.
