Senior care advocates Shaun Lemon and Irene Escobedo visited her to celebrate and honor this wonderful woman, full of life! They said she is "a delight" and remembers a Advertisement Mrs. Hedrick is no stranger to the Foundation for Senior Care. After giving up driving sometime around age 90, she was excited when the Care Van became available in 2004. She could now go out with the Care Van and not depend as much on others. As she got older, she found out about the Senior Care Advocacy program and learned how it could help her to remain independent. Foundation director Dotty Metcalf said, "We are blessed to know Lula Hedrick and wish her many more healthy years!"
