The quake was a sharp, quick, hard jolt at 12:47 am on Sun. early am. My 72 mom woke up before it happened and she had the time exactly right. We live by Thornton Ave. in Hemet. It woke me up in bed and it felt like a quick rumble.

It woke me up from a sound sleep in Fallbrook. Others in my house said it felt like two jolts, a minor one and then a stronger one. Seemed pretty strong to have been a 3.9 out in Hemet area.

Fell asleep on the couch about an hour before the quake, so I was pretty sound asleep and this one woke me up. It was small and over quickly, but quite a jolt.
