Fallbrook High announces six commended students

FALLBROOK – Fallbrook High School has announced six of its students have been named commended students in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Ashley Chaney, Alex Heald, Alexander Louden, Laura Marks, Hannah Oppermann, and Kathleen Young will be honored locally as being scholastically talented seniors.

Although they will not continue in the 2013 competition for National Merit Scholarship awards, these commended students placed among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2013 competition.
