In 1970 he married his high school sweetheart Sheryl Lee Widener, and the couple remained devoted for 41 years. They enjoyed building up a furniture refinishing business that they called Fabled Finishes. In June, 1991 the couple moved to Fallbrook for the climate and to be near family. Ron is survived by his wife Sheryl; his brother Daniel Pack and family; and sisters Cathy Stephens and Sherrine Avers and their families. His Fallbrook relatives include aunt Christine May Woodbury; cousins Pastor Robert and Debbie Woodbury; and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
