Born Nov. 10, 1924, William (Bill) Darrel Livingood passed away on Sept. 19, 2012 at the home that he adored, surrounded by his loved ones. He will greatly missed by all who knew him. William and his wife Opal moved from Louviers, Colo. to Fallbrook in 1984 to be near their daughter and her family. He loved California where he could nurture his love for gardening and flowers.

He was preceded in death by his wife of almost 64 years, Opal, and his son Michael (Catherine). He leaves behind his oldest son Stephen of Castlerock, Colo.; his only daughter and constant companion, Denise (Dee Dee) Williams, and son-in-law John Williams of Fallbrook; grandchildren Jennifer Livingood, Ben Ricard, Ryan Williams (Geraldine), Marissa Collins (Matthew), Lauryn Williams, HN William Livingood, Troy Livingood, Elijah Livingood, and Isaiah Livingood; great-grandchildren Alexandria Livingood, Macy Pregont (Joey), Maya Ricard, Ethan Ricard, Jonah Collins, Millie Collins, and John Williams; and great-great-grandchild Deliliah Pregont.

He also leaves behind two sisters, Frances Harrison and Wilma Gelroth; and many nieces, nephews, and friends in California and Colorado. He loved life and had a deep passion for family and anything to do with nature. He had such a loving effect on all of us. He will forever live on in our hearts. We will be having a memorial on his birthday,

Nov. 10 to celebrate his life, time and place to be announced at a later date.

I am sooo sad by the loss that I And my whole family share. I love you Uncle Billy so much and I will greatly miss you. You brought laughter and lots of joy in my life. Your love for gardens and flowers I will take with me for the rest of my life and I'm planting my garden in your honor. I can't wait to see you again. In Heaven we will plant a garden together. I love you so much. Love always and forever your great niece, Nicole
