Longtime Fallbrook resident Shirley Lenfers passed away Sept.19, 2012. She was born in St. Paul, Minn. on Aug 19, 1920. She graduated from Oceanside High School in 1938 after which she moved to Fallbrook with her first husband William Blacklidge. In 1945 she married Art Lenfers and they were together for 58 years.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Art, youngest son Mike Lenfers, and grandson Scott Blacklidge. She is survived by her children Bill Blacklidge (Vickie), Sherri Lenfers, and Gary Lenfers; grandchildren, Gerri Gordon (Mark), Bryan Lenfers, Erick Lenfers, and great-grandson Justin Gordon.

Graveside service will be on Friday, Sept. 28 at 3 p.m. at Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers you are welcome to make donations to Elizabeth Hospice.
