NORTH COUNTY – Agricultural producers are invited to participate in Mission Resource Conservation District’s (MRCD) Conservation Plan Program. This program is free and will assist agricultural property owners or managers with addressing natural resource and agricultural concerns on their properties. Resource concerns on agricultural properties can include (but are not limited to) erosion, plant pests, animal pests and pollination problems, all of which can be detrimental to the health and productivity of the grove or orchard.

MRCD will work with the property owners or managers to develop conservation plans that are specific for each property Advertisement

[ Berry-Bell and Hall Mortuary ] and that detail how to eliminate or control the problem areas. Included in the conservation plans are best management practices (BMPs) that can be implemented by the agricultural producers.

District staff works with local agricultural property owners and managers to assist them in setting priorities, completing BMPs, comply with local, state and federal regulations, and keep their land productive in the long term. This program is free and completely voluntary.
