Parkinson’s Support Group meets Oct. 10

VISTA – The North County Parkinson’s Support Group will meet on Wednesday, Oct. 10 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Gloria McClellan Senior Center, 1400 Vale Terrace Dr. in Vista.

Guest speaker for the meeting will be Adam Burdick, M.D., a neurosurgeon associated with Scripps Clinic. Burdick’s topic will be "Deep Brain Stimulation." Melissa Houser, M.D., clinical director of the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorder Center at Scripps Clinic will attend also.

The meeting will include a care and share time and free refreshments. Call June for more information at (760) 940-2763.
