FALLBROOK – Los Willows Private Wedding Estate has teamed up with local wedding vendors to provide a fairytale wedding celebration valued at over $30,000 for a wounded soldier and his wife. The wedding will take place on Sunday, Jan. 15, and will be attended by 100 of the bride and groom’s friends and family members.

Lance Cpl. Josue Barron lost a leg and an eye in Sangin, Afghanistan, while serving with the 3rd Battalion, 5th Regiment Marines from Camp Pendleton. According to one source, this unit, known as Darkhorse, suffered the highest casualty rate of any Marine unit during the past 10 years Advertisement

of war.

Although Barron and his wife Debbie are already married, the owners of Los Willows wanted to show their appreciation of Barron’s service and courage by giving the couple the wedding of their dreams. Barron delivered a surprise proposal to Debbie on September 26, 2011, at the Los Willows Estate, and planning soon commenced.

"Al and I are truly honored to offer Los Willows for a wounded warrior’s dream wedding," said Cathie Ransom, co-owner of Los Willows Wedding Estate. "There is not enough we can do for these young soldiers that have put their lives on the line for our nation."
