Garden Club installs storage shed at La Paloma

Thursday, September 9th, 2010
Issue 36, Volume 14.

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Garden Club erected a storage shed at La Paloma Elementary for its school garden last week. The seven-foot by seven-foot plastic shed, locks, a balloon-tired garden wagon, and shelving were purchased with a Home Depot Foundation $1,000 gift card.

Because of the Temecula Home Depot store’s generous offer of a ten percent discount on purchases, and the thrift of the club’s purchasing committee of two (Harry Clyde and Jim Sciarra), there is credit remaining on the card for garden-related needs that undoubtedly will arise during the school/Garden Club year ahead.
